Interview Part 1

Extract from last weekend's interview with MetalzMindz fanzine: Part 2 coming later.

"Sunday morning at 11, I meet up with vocalist and founding member of green metal sensation 'Ecosphear' in the studio. The self styled guardian of eco-truth Lord Vegan is busy working on the final production tweaking of the yet to be titled debut album, eagerly awaited by the band's cult following.

Vegan leans back in the studio couch with a half bottle of Jack D in one hand and clutching a well wrinkled copy of the British newspaper 'Sunday Sport' in the other.

Q: Not at church this Sunday morning Lord?

Vegan: (laughs then serious) nah, the only church I worship in is for Mother Nature - she's the only one who can save us now.

Q: How's the new tour going?

Vegan: Great (smiles) we had 3 humvee limos full of chicks roll up to the gig last night to take us back to the hotel.

Q: Aren't humvees gas guzzlers?

V: (gulps some JD) nah man it was just a PR stunt we don't own then or anything....yet (laughs)

Q: Do you like Bob Geldof?

V: Oh (smiles) Sir Bob, yeah I think he could be cool. Isn't he one of those Africans who were banged up with Winnie Mandela in prison you know like when those fascists ruled African and all that place?

Q: Nelson Mandela

V: yeah cool

Q: When's the new album out?

V: It's due out in the Fall

Q: Any title yet?

V: (laughs) we're gonna start a website and invite our fans to tell us the title, should be real cool

Q: Do you support green political parties in europe?

V: If they were radical enough but they are not, out of tune with the street man those suits

Q: What's your fav movie?

V: Two actually, 'Fire Down Under' and 'On Deadly Ground' both starring Steven Seagal.

Q: Why those films?

V: They epitomise what Eco-sphear are all about - one against many

Q: Your music?

V: Yeah man (gulps at more JD) but it is a war out there, a war to save the planet and we are on Mutha Nature's side. Stevie Seagal was on the side of justice, did all his own stunts too

Q: Have you seen Al Gore's film 'An Inconvenient Truth' yet?

V: Not yet, is it a action thriller? Who is in it?

Part 2 of the interview will be posted at a later date

Your taste in movies is shite. Try getting pissed on Hobgoblin and watching Nekromantik.
